Galaxy Digital suddenly moves $447,000,000 worth of Bitcoin (BTC) and sends most of it to crypto exchanges: on-chain data

The Crypto Financial Services Giant Galaxy Digital suddenly moved $447 million worth of Bitcoin (BTC), chain data shows.

According to blockchain tracking platform LookonChain, Galaxy Digital moved 3,782 BTC just days after creating another large transaction for its flagship Crypto Asset.

“Is Galaxy Digital helping to sell BTC again? (Monday), Galaxy Digital transferred another 3,782 BTC ($447 million), most of which went for a replacement.”

On Friday, Galaxy Digital said it had promoted the success of “one of the biggest conceptual Bitcoin transactions in crypto history” on behalf of one of the company’s clients, which owns a 14-year history of Bitcoin wallet.

“Galaxy has completed more than 80,000 Bitcoin sales, over $9 billion based on current market prices. This represents one of the fastest and most important exits from the digital asset market. The transaction was part of investors’ broader real estate planning strategies.”

Meanwhile, Galaxy CEO Mike Novogratz believes Ethereum (ETH) is ready to surpass Bitcoin in the coming months.

In a recent interview with CNBC TV, Mike Novogratz said that if Top Altcoin hits the $4,000 price tag again, it would cause the asset’s “price discovery” phase.

Bitcoin has been trading at $117,498 at the time of writing, a slight downturn in the last 24 hours. Meanwhile, Ethereum was trading at $3,769 at the time of writing, a slight decline for the day.
