BNB Chain has appointed Nina Rong as Executive Director of Growth to strengthen its global expansion and ecosystem development.
BNB Chain has appointed Nina Rong as its new Executive Director of Growth, in a strategic move to strengthen its global leadership. According to the BNB Chain blog, this announcement marks an important step in the blockchain network’s efforts to expand its developer program, ecosystem partnerships, and international presence.
Rong’s extensive experience in Web3
Nina Rong brings extensive experience in scaling the global Web3 ecosystem and developing high-impact partnership strategies. In her previous role as Head of Partnerships at the Arbitrum Foundation, she contributed significantly to global growth and ecosystem initiatives. Prior to this, she held a key role at Offchain Labs, leading regional partnerships and supporting the network’s initial expansion across Asia.
BNB chain growth vision
In his new role, Rong will focus on three core pillars: ecosystem growth and talent, developer relationships, and global expansion. Her goals are to attract top builders and partners, expand developer support programs, and strengthen BNB Chain’s footprint in emerging markets. Rong expressed his enthusiasm, saying, “We are honored to join the mission of bringing the next billion users to web3. BNB Chain has the scale, community, and technology to empower builders.”
Leadership support and future direction
Changpeng Zhao (CZ), a core contributor at BNB Chain, highlighted the network’s commitment under Rong’s leadership to make liquidity discovery more accessible to the next billion Web3 users. The appointment of Mr. Rong, who holds an engineering degree from the University of Waterloo and an MBA from Peking University, underscores BNB Chain’s dedication to long-term ecosystem development and innovation in on-chain finance, infrastructure, and consumer applications.
