BlackRock’s Spot Bitcoin Exchange-Traded Fund has been named the best new ETF product by ETF.com as it recorded its highest influx since January 21st.
On April 23rd, BlackRock’s Ishare Bitcoin ETF (IBIT) was awarded the “Best New ETF” at the annual ETF.com ETF Awards. Shortly afterwards in an X post, Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Barknas said, “I feel right to me.”
IBIT records the highest influx in 3 months
“I’m sure this is how I voted. Both of us did something no one saw before (previously),” Balchunas said. According to Google Finance Data, Voo has increased by 89% over the past five years.
IBit was also a recipient of Crypto ETP of the Year.
According to data from Farside, two IBit awards came on the same day that IBIT recorded an influx of $643.2 million. It was the highest influx date seen at $661.9 million since January 21st, when Bitcoin spot prices reached an all-time high of $109,000.
Bitcoin commentator Vivek said it was “huge” and Apollo Sats co-founder Thomas Fahrer said it was “huge influx.”
According to BlackRock Data, the IBIT fund launched in January 2024 along with 10 other Spot Bitcoin ETFs has a net worth of around $53.77 billion. Over the past 30 days, they have traded an average of 45.02 million shares per day.
At the time of publication, a single IBIT share is traded for $53.20 according to Google Finance data.
Meanwhile, Vaneck Bitcoin ETF (HODL) won the “Best New ETF Ticker” award.

The big influx of IBIT on April 23rd accounted for most of the $917 million found in all 11 Bitcoin ETFs that day. Of the majority of months posting leak dates due to macro uncertainty, it has been inflows of over $900 million for the second day in a row.
On April 23, GlassNode noted that the previous day’s $912 million ETF inflow equaled more than 500 times the daily average in 2025.
