ZKsync’s ZK token surged more than 50% on Saturday, rising from nearly $0.03 to $0.045 after Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin endorsed a ZKsync post that described Ethereum as “incorruptible.”

ZKsync recently introduced the Atlas upgrade to the ZK stack. It is designed to enhance infrastructure for businesses and institutions with the addition of a new high-performance sequencer that supports up to 30,000 transactions per second and full Ethereum compatibility.
This upgrade includes Airbender, a system for quick verification and fast cross-chain payments.
Developed by Matter Labs, Atlas aims to facilitate systems that combine private control and interoperability, making them suitable for processing payments, tokenized assets, and cross-border payments.
In another tweet posted earlier after the Atlas upgrade, Buterin praised ZKsync for its “underappreciated but valuable” contribution to the Ethereum ecosystem.
